A knowledgeable and compassionate practitioner, Margaret Nowotarski offers expertise developed through 30 years of dedication in the field of health.

Educated at Medical University and University of Wroclaw (Wroclaw, Poland), Karolinska Institute (Stockholm, Sweden) and McGill Center for the Study of Host Resistance (Montreal, Canada), Margaret’s extensive background in research and product development spans more than 20 years in Poland, Sweden and Canada.

As co-author of over thirty scientific articles and conference presentations, she has thorough knowledge and experience in the fields of infectious and parasitic diseases, wound healing and whole food nutrition.

Working with research teams at academic institutions, hospitals and in the biopharmaceutical industry has provided her with an extensive depth of understanding that she applies daily in her current practice to benefit her clients.

Based in Calgary Alberta, Dr. Nowotarski provides personalized health analysis testing, nutritional advice and recommendations on natural solutions to health conditions including skin health problems. In these roles, she operates BioEnergetic Santé and DermAnica Labs.

As with many other successful brands, the development of DermAnica products began with the company founder identifying a need and creating a solution for a small market. In this case, Dr. Nowotarski’s desire for natural, organic skin care lead her to seek results for a market of one ... herself!

Searching the North American marketplace for the right products, she was dissatisfied with what was available. Living in Montreal, Margaret would purchase 20 or 30 containers of creams and lotions on her visits back to Poland and keep them in her refrigerator for her own use. As this became impractical, she decided to experiment with natural, organic ingredients to create her own products, and DermAnica Labs was born.

The result of experimenting with various natural and organic ingredients is the full skin care line called DermAnica. The specially formulated products offer effective results at reasonable prices for those who want the benefits that only natural ingredients can provide – great skin without parabens, synthetic fragrance and other unnecessary and possibly harmful contents.

Growing her business since 2001, customers from Montreal and Ottawa were the base of her clientele. DermAnica quickly attracted customers from elsewhere in Canada, into the U.S. and abroad. Now based in Calgary, DermAnica Labs is blossoming right in step with educated consumers who demand high quality, natural products for their skin.

Enhancing the benefits of DermAnica products, Dr. Nowotarski also provides personalized skin consultations and health & wellness assessments.
