As with many other successful brands, the development of Dermanica began with the company founder
– Dr. Nowotarski – identifying a need, and creating a solution for, a truly natural and organic skincare
line of products that safely addresses many skin concerns.

My Story
Hello, my name is Dr. Margaret Nowotarski. I am a biochemist, an immunologist and hold a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wroclaw in Poland. For many years I worked in the biomedical field in academic and research institutions in Poland, Sweden and Canada.
I moved to Canada in 1986 and scoured the market for skincare products that could naturally tackle my existing skin conditions of rosacea, dry and sensitive skin. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the products available in the North American marketplace. None of these products could moisturize or rejuvenate my skin without causing irritation, dryness or inflammation.
Following my move to Canada, I would purchase jars of creams and lotions during visits back to Poland and store all these products in my refrigerator for my own use.
As time went on, these shopping trips back to Poland became impractical and unsustainable!
Therefore, I decided to experiment with natural, organic ingredients to create my own products.
As a scientist, I was always interested in the biology of skin, the importance of nutrition and the effects of a healthy lifestyle to promote a youthful and glowing complexion.
After many months of researching and experimenting, a full skin care line called Dermanica was born.
Biochemist formulated and chemical free, Dermanica skin care products are specially designed to rejuvenate your skin and help control problem skin conditions including dry, sensitive, mature or oily skin, fine lines and wrinkles as well as blemished, irritated and prone-to-redness skin.
All my carefully researched and tested products offer effective results at reasonable prices. For those who want the benefits that only natural ingredients can provide, Dermanica nurtures great skin without parabens, synthetic fragrances or other unnecessary and possibly harmful ingredients.
Dermanica skin products are blended with natural and organic plant extracts, oils and butters, vitamins and antioxidants to nourish, rejuvenate and reveal healthier-looking and more radiant skin.
